still July!

 so we returned on Friday night to Chicago and on Saturday we had a birthday celebration for frineds Lee and John both have birthdays this month! 

earlier that day we had attended a memorial celebration for Nan Anderson- 

Nan had a party when she got sick - a wake for herself before she left to have fun and celebrate her friends- what a lovely idea- the memorial was held in the same location- 

otherwise I have been working on the deck and the summer has been wet so lots to keep up during growing season- 

This week has been pretty quiet as we regroup and move into a busier social season as we round out the second half of the summer and TB and I head to Canada for a DART trip.... stay tuned...
