so we were home a week and got a chance to put things away (mostly) and get stuff like new driver's licenses done etc...then we met Todd & Evie for dinner on Saturday (about ten days after arrival) at Le Select. It was a great evening with friends - catching up and hanging out-
the restaurant is overhyped but we had a good time anyway-
earlier int he week we went out for chinese to chengdu impressions
and so our social calendar has started to get busier, we saw Ron & Mary last night at Psistoria for Greek food. Phil is working hours a day on duolingo and I am going to begin my Spanish again in earnest tomorrow - having spent some time on getting my photos downloaded and backed up... back to life in the big city.
