So last night we met up with Mike for dinner at Chengdu Impressions. On Wednesday we have dinner at Osteria Langhe and Friday with Todd & Evie at North Pond. Then over the Labor Day weekend we are entertaining John & Stephanie. I am making gumbo!

Had left overs on Monday and Tuesday met Bob and Lorraine (our old neighbors) for dinner at Bien Mesabe
Which brings us up to date- this week we are having our upstairs neighbor for dessert and tea one night- then Angela & Lee are in town and Phil will take them to a Cubs game. The weekend is taken up for Phil with a folk festival in Evanston. I will do some work on the deck garden to prep for winter weather- days are cooler and it is only six weeks until I return home to Sevilla.
