I realized I had drafted a post about when we put our Florida place on the market so we could start the process of moving our winter location to Spain instead of a state where they ban books and are anti-gay... but apparently it never made it to the actual publication stage of the blog - so here it is...
The place was listed and sold in exactly four weeks - the only real negotiating point was the closing date, which they wanted less than three weeks post contract. (right at the new year.) We compromised and agreed on mid January.... then went into overdrive to clear the house and move stuff into storage until we got back from Sevilla, Spain where we were headed for language immersion classes for six weeks plus time to check out other locations for future winters...
Our second home in Florida has gone live on real estate listing services today- please pass along to anyone who you might know looking for a new place in a sunny clime. 2200 square feet in 42 unit condo development.
