and out in town

so we are home for a while and out with friends - earlier in the week we went to KOMO for a date night. It had been a year since we were there and we don't know why we waited so long... fabulous meal 

That was Wednesday, on Friday we went out with Lee & Nick to Bistro Campagne. It was a fun evening with always consistently good food.....

Tomorrow we are dining with Ron & Mary at Georges Trois for a Julia Child inspired meal. You'll see the details in a later post but here is the menu from the website promo... YUM! More to follow!

Accompanied by Chestnut Purée and Sweet Potato Gratin.

Grilled Quail filled with Truffle Risotto:

Presented over Confit Cabbage and Truffle Game Jus.

Tornadoes Rossini:

Featuring Seared Foie Gras and Perigueux Sauce.

back in town

 So I came back on Thursday night late - from the trip to Canada and Friday we caught up on various administrative things and bill paying etc.  Then Phil had a concert on Saturday while I worked on getting photos from the trip in order and by Sunday we were out with friends Todd & Evie for dinner.

None of us had been to S.K.Y.  in a while - so we went there!!

A great meal with great friends and a perfect way to celebrate the long weekend of the last of summer...

We also have scheduled for this next week- dinner at KOMO and dinner with Lee & Nick (venue undecided) also Georges Trois with Ron & Mary.... so we wont' go hungry and we wont be lonely LOL.
