Steve’s final words, hours earlier, were monosyllables, repeated three times.
Before embarking, he’d looked at his sister Patty, then for a long time at his children, then at his life’s partner, Laurene, and then over their shoulders past them.
Steve’s final words were:
OH WOW. OH WOW. OH WOW
those words come from the Mona Simpson Eulogy for her brother Steve Jobs.
normally I wouldn't comment on the subject but how cool would it be if he was actually seeing the next stage?
and those were words my husband and I said to each other over and over when we saw the stars under African night skies- they were SO amazing that was all we could say - OH WOW!
here are some photos I just pulled off the Internet to show how things appeared and one that was just so beautiful (the time lapse) that I had to share it-
the first is Orion - the only constellation I can actually find other than the big dipper- I am seriously impaired in constellation identification-
the second is a photo of a spiral galaxy - but I chose it because the photo of the surrounding stars had the feel of what we saw-
and then the waaay cool tracking stars photo below.
so I hold the hope that each and every loved one lost in the last year and a half- Janna - Lil - Joe -Brad - Herb - Lu Ann and Bert had the same OH WOW experience that Steve Jobs had as he exited this planet and this level of existence.
missing you all....
