a changed header

so today I changed my blog header photo - it is a photo I took in Africa on safari - and can undoubtedly be found in a post from the summer of 2011.  I did it because today is a milestone in my blogging- this is my thousandth post... I have been blogging five years next month - on the 22nd.

Who knew I would have this much to say and be doing?  I had a retirement role model in my travel buddy Jennifer who retired shortly after I met her in 2001... and so I "manage to keep busy" LOL...
