spectacularly new!

We are burning the candle at both ends in our Farewell Tour here in Chicago before we leave for the season and so last night we went to my FAVORITE restaurant in Chicago- 42 grams.  We had been there in May and July and now October and typically we get a number of new courses and some old favorites.  This meal had virtually all new courses and was absolutely spectacular! Phil declared it their best menu ever.

It had so many excellent courses and so much new that I will get right into it -

an all around terrific meal- the only things repeated from the last meal we had there in July (with Steve & Suzanne) were the "tart" course with the white chocolate shell and the "coffee" espuma along with the "best course ever anywhere anytime" A5 wagyu beef with the beef tendon and bone marrow.... and it still IS!
