next up in "guests"

Jennifer & Dave left Sunday morning.  That night we went out to try a new place Augurio. It is located a few doors from Alimentari.  It was very good. A winner. We already reserved another evening here. My favorites were the trio of tuna and steak tartar bombon. Phil had the lamb and really enjoyed it. Menu marked below.

Later in the week, on Thursday, Mac & Niti arrive; followed the next day by Claus & Evi's arrival. We are having a mini-reunion. It's been ages since I have seen Niti and Mac so it will be a fun few days.  Then in another week, Megan and Christian arrive for two nights. We are already planning a return to tonight's restaurant with them - two weeks after our first visit.

Meanwhile, we saw Helena on Monday night at a place nearby, Castizo, as Phil has injured his knee. Then he has class on Tuesday so I will cook something. LOL. 

Wednesday, we had reservations at a new Italian (still looking for "our Italian place.")  Dinner tonight, we are still seeking the definitive Italian.  We enjoyed the cava sangria and the rest of the meal. But it's south of the Cathedral and the sister restaurant is closer and not in such a touristy area.  Excellent service BTW. No complaints just didn't "knock our socks off."  

Then the walk home- we were happy it didn't rain either on the way there or on the way home.

 Another week will fly by.  My last class for this term at Northwestern is Thursday.  I haven't loved the teacher but the class has been good.
