this and that

So let's catch up again - since I have been gone for a week or ten days - 

Two nights ago we had a fun dinner at friends, Lee & Nick's house,  with John & Stephanie and Lee's best friend Lisa... Nick made some fabulous cocktails and we all had an "extremely good" evening  LOL 

The one I requested - HENDRICK'S NEPTUNIA  (Lime, Cucumber, Elderflower Tonic)

Yesterday we went to a concert called Violins of Hope - which featured violins that were saved from the Holocaust. One of the featured musical selections was the New World Symphony a favorite piece.

We ate at home a number of nights but still had a lovely meal at Osteria Langhe (where we hadn't been since Covid)

 I also worked on the deck to get things ready for summer- 

We also had another Sunday night dinner at Chengdu Impression which was again really good.

We had pizza  & salad dinner with Zack & Becky and their girls, Abby and Maya, at Burt"s 

And we had dinner with Jenny, at a "new to us" place called Il Milanese - it was really good!

So that brings us up to date...and we are now heading into June and settling in for summer. We see Leslie twice a week for training, and Phil leaves for Ireland in roughly two weeks.  Meanwhile, we have some more catching up with friends at dinners and I have a couple of theater tickets for when Phil is gone... so I will be back soon with some reviews.  This week we are catching up with Sheila & Mary at Oceanique...
