So off we went on a huge eating tour of New Orleans. Old favorites, new places, good places, terrific places and mediocre places (sadly.)
First stop- masters of social media Parkway Tavern & Bakery. The place lives up to the hype with amazing poorboys po-boys etc.... plenty of seating outdoors under heater if the small inside rooms are full.
Next was dinner at Vyoone's (Yvonne's) a terrific place - among our best meals!
The next day we lunched at Port of Call - a famous burger joint in a pirate house - seriously you could actually envision pirates living in this dark tavern with an old brick fire pit/place. Burgers are served with baked potatoes.
It was a lovely day so we ended up spending part of the afternoon in the courtyard at Napoleon House.
Dinner was at Cochon a favorite from prior visits-
so we have covered three days I think LOL but there is more.... so watch this space....
