So last night we met Richard and Irene for dinner at a new to all of us place Alcove in Evanston in the train station. Food was good - service OK and it was convenient for both of us- them from Northshore and the two of us from the city.
before that we met up with Lee & Nick for dinner in the hood - at Bien Me Sabe a favorite for years.
I had the Cachapa with beef and Nick had an arepa with chicken
Phil and Lee had the ribs -
Phil had the Nutella dessert - the rest of us passed-
and I met Beth Lang for lunch on Friday at Sochi Saigon Kitchen
We shared egg rolls and Bahn-mi and slap mamma crab rice
next week- my road trip starts on Tuesday! been doing some planning aorund that....
