We had come from lunch outdoors to afternoon coffee. Sitting outside enjoying various views of blue. #livineasy A quick bite at a mediocre but cute place on a small street in Centro. The best course was the mushrooms. Calamari was chewy - berenjenas were mushy - the tortilla was good but too much to finish.
then coffee at La Escala
another lunch outdoors and more blue - and waterfront-
Lunch outside at a bodequita down the hill from our plaza. After we had a simple lunch we headed to the water. Turning back towards the city, one can see the volcanic formation of the island. Also the city of Santa Cruz de Tenerife running up into the higher ground. The cruise port is at the north end of the waterfront. The commerical port is to the south end of the developed waterfront. There were two cruise ships in port. We had coffee in the city center and walked home to our plaza.
We had Dinner that night - seafood centric. And a walk home after dark - despite it being January 15th the holiday lights are still up (though unlit.) All of the food was excellent, and we had terrific service from Andreena.
so a few more days of being spoiled by blue skies and 72* weather... but we still have more time before heading back to the mainland.
