Barcelona wrapping up

Our last day in Barcelona (on this trip) we headed out for brunch nearby. I had the huevos rotas con chistorra and a side of berenjenas (fried eggs with sausage made with cider and a side of eggplant). Phil had sopa de mariscos and Milanese pollo (seafood soup and chicken schnitzel.) They had an off brand of cola zero which we figured would be something we see more in the future with the anti American trade sentiments in the EU. The restaurant decor was kind of strange - very full of greenery but all of it was fake.... Service was disjointed (too many people, ensuring no one was responsible for the actual serving.) But the food was decent and not overwhelming. Planning ahead for the farewell dinner tonight.

Phil went for a long walk today and ended up at the Sagrada Familia. He took some pretty good photos considering it's a construction site.

dinner was worth its own post so continue to the next post for the Barcelona wrap up....
