The winner

It wasn't really a competition but we did have a winner- here is what I wrote on the night we had our farewell dinner (dinner number 4 of 4 nights out!)

We ended our eating tour of Barcelona on such a high note I think the glass broke!!! The outstanding service enhanced a spectacular meal. Menu and pairing list included near the end of the post. The pacing was perfect and I would only trade out one single course of all the exciting tastes we had over the course of the evening. This wonderful establishment is completely worth a journey as they say in Michelin speak. Fun tidbit the staff all wear the red sneakers so ably modeled by our lovely sommelier Maria who was also sporting a matching nail color as she posed with a wine with a red capsule. So not a stuffy place a really relaxed and attentive staff set the tone for the best dining we had in the week of many outstanding meals. Big shout out to Todd for the reservations and the planning. Also we had the added plus of getting to know Carl and Roya 

A terrific evening to end our time together in Barcelona.  Thanks to Todd & Evie for hosting us in their "home away from home" for our first evening and setting up the fabulous tour of Casa Batlló as well as reserving all the evening meals.
