tonight a CG dinner at Macku that I will report on later and yesterday we both played hooky to go to Frank n Dawgs for lunch followed by a trip to the Chicago History Museum. on Monday a new exhibit started about the Jews in Chicago and Phil decided it was something he wanted to see.
while there we also zoomed through the Magic exhibit and from the balcony got a few cell phone shots of the Chicago streets exhibit down below...
it was a good day for hooky from Phil's work- he has been promising Wednesday's off but hasn't yet actually done it- but this week it worked for us to both take the day for a little local touring here at home on Tuesday....
